"Cold Regions - Cool Facts" Contest

------- DEADLINE EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 1 23:59 CET -------
Do you find everything exciting that has to do with snow and ice?
Would you like to show your fellow students what fascinates you about the Arctic, the Antarctic or the glaciated regions of the earth?
Are you bored by PowerPoint presentations and articles and have an idea to convey your knowledge in a completely different way?
In that case, our creative contest carried out by APECS Germany in cooperation with the German Society of Polar Research is the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for creative contributions that explain one or more aspects of polar research in detail.
Give a topic that fascinates or surprises you a little more attention by approaching it creatively. We have collected some examples for you here to use as inspiration, ranging from comics to podcasts to student experiments - there are virtually no limits to your creativity!
Polar research is manifold and carried out by many disciplines. We welcome contributions from the geo, bio and climate sciences, as well as contributions from the social sciences such as the history of polar research, politics and education.
You should make sure that
You present your topic in a technically correct way
Your contribution is in German or English, in case you write texts
You adapt your content to your target group, which can range from primary school children to an interested public
Your contribution can at least to some extent be published on our website
